Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Redbank Tackle Co. handles personal information when you contact us or read this website. It is short because the site collects very little, and it says plainly what happens to what you send.

Updated 07.11.2026

In short
  • We receive only what you type into the contact form: your name and e-mail, plus an optional phone number, request type and message.
  • Your request is used for one thing only: answering it.
  • The server stores a one-way hash of your IP address to block spam, and requests and hashes are deleted automatically after six months.
  • This website has no user accounts, no payments, no analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party embeds and no cookies.
  • The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply, and you can raise a concern with the OAIC.

Who we are

Redbank Tackle Co. is a tackle shop. We sell rods, reels and lures, and we give honest local advice to the people who fish around us. This website, nordelis.click, is a small information site about the shop and its free helper apps. For anything connected with privacy, write to info@nordelis.click. We reply within two working days.

We do not publish a street address on this website. The e-mail address above is the reliable way to reach us about personal information, and it goes to the person who deals with these questions. Please write from an address you can receive a reply at, so that we can answer you properly.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Redbank Tackle Co. handles personal information that arrives through this website. It covers the contact form, the technical records that keep the site running, and the small pieces of storage kept in your own browser. It does not describe how a conversation at the counter or on the telephone works.

We keep the policy in plain language on purpose. The shop sells fishing tackle; it is not a data business, and the amount of personal information that passes through the website is small and short-lived. Where the law gives you a right, this policy says so, and it names the authority you can turn to.

Information you send us through the contact form

The contact form sends a small set of fields to this website's own server: your name, which is required; your e-mail address, which is required; an optional phone number; a request type, chosen from a list; and an optional message. Nothing else is asked for, and nothing is added by hand.

We use those fields for one purpose only: to read your request and answer it. The details are not used to send you newsletters, they are not sold, and they are not passed to anyone for marketing. If your request concerns an order, we use what you sent to prepare an accurate answer.

  • Name, required, so that we know how to address you
  • E-mail address, required, so that we can reply to you
  • Phone number, optional, only if you would rather be called
  • Request type, a choice from a short list
  • Message, optional, for anything you want to add

Spam protection: the IP hash

With every request the server stores a one-way hash of your IP address. A hash is a fingerprint, not the address itself: it cannot be turned back into the original number by us. It exists for one reason, which is to recognise a flood of automated messages and stop it.

The limit is at most five requests per hour from the same source. A normal visitor never meets it. The hash is not used to follow you around the site, to build a picture of your interests, or to work out who you are, and it is deleted on the same schedule as the request.

Hosting and server logs

The website runs on a rented server of a hosting provider in the European Union. That provider is a data processor: it stores files and keeps the machine running on our instruction, and it does not use the content of your request for purposes of its own.

The server keeps standard access logs for security, as web servers normally do. These logs record technical details of connections, such as the time and the page requested. They help to detect abuse and faults, and access to them is limited to what is needed to keep the site working.

What this website does not do

There are no user accounts on this website and no payments are taken here. There is no analytics, no advertising tracker, no third-party embed and no cookie. Reading the pages, or using the apps, does not require you to give any personal detail at all.

Because nothing is embedded from other companies, no outside service sees your visit. Everything you can read here is open right away, without a form. The only place where you may choose to type something is the contact form described above.

  • No user accounts and no personal area
  • No payments and no card details on the website
  • No analytics and no advertising trackers
  • No third-party embeds and no cookies

Storage on your device

Your browser stores a few small values on your own device. They are: the choice you made in the cookie banner; the colour scheme you picked in the apps; the list of saved items; and the items you ticked. These values stay on your device and are read only by this site.

If you install one of the apps, an offline copy of its pages is added to the device so that it opens without a connection. You can remove that copy by uninstalling the app, and you can clear the stored values at any time in the settings of your browser.

How long we keep information

Requests sent through the contact form and the IP hashes that go with them are deleted automatically after six months. Nobody has to ask for that deletion; it happens on a schedule. In the meantime the messages sit on the server and are read only in order to answer you.

We do not keep a marketing list, a history of your visits or a copy of your browser storage. If you want a message removed sooner, write to info@nordelis.click from the address you used and ask; we will confirm when it has been done.

Your rights under Australian privacy law

The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply to the personal information we handle. You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or raise a concern about the way a request was handled. Write to info@nordelis.click and we will answer.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001, https://www.oaic.gov.au. The Commissioner is the supervisory authority for privacy in Australia and publishes its own guidance on making a complaint.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy when the website or the way we work changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, and it describes the site as it is at the time you read it. We do not send notices about small edits by e-mail.

If something in this policy is unclear, write to info@nordelis.click and ask. A short question is always fine, and we would rather explain a paragraph than leave you guessing about what happens to a message you send. We reply within two working days.

Questions about this document can go to info@nordelis.click.
